But P.J Tobia, Sam Reidly and Yuri Cunza Conspiracy to tarnish Anthony Lucas reputation.
Reporters are one type of journalist. They create reports as a profession for broadcast or publication in mass media such as newspapers, television, radio, magazines, documentary film, or the Internet. Reporters find sources for their work, their reports can be either spoken or written, and they are often expected to report in the most objective and unbiased way to serve the public good. A columnist is a journalist who writes pieces that appear regularly in newspapers or magazines.
A corrupt journalist is one who places his friendship above his duties, his belief and what this sacred profession stands for. This is the reason our forefathers empowered the profession freedom of press in the constitution. However there are rotten apples who tarnish the image of the profession and well respected innocent people. It happened in London recently and P.J Tobia on local level. One who has no business to be a journalist?
No one has filed suit against Walter Cronkite, Peter Jennings, Bob Woodward, Carl Bernstein or many other true journalist like them. But the mediocre junior writer P. J Tobia former writer of Nashville Scene has been hit with two liable suits within months of each other. It surely proves that he did a sloppy job, did not investigate the truth about story he wrote. He could have been a puppet of others doing the dirty job of his friends, Yuri Cunza a known criminal, John Lamb, Gregg Ramos, Eva Melo and others. It makes readers wonder – where was Liz Garrigan editor of Nashville Scene, was she blind, was she being black mailed, was she clueless, ignorant, did she ignore her duties or was a part of the same gang.
Conspiracy to tarnish Anthony Lucas reputation. Who was in charge of the publication at the time. Was it Liz Garrizan in charge or Yuri Cuanza a close friend of P.J Tobia or perhaps lover as some say –(they got caught pants down in act at one of the reputable local clubs). He has always bragged about his influence and hold on Nashville Scene it in public. Did P.J Tobia take order from someone other than his editor. Or did receive compensation for writing lies about those whose friends asked. How did he become their puppet and wrote lies about innocent and reputable people, tarnish their reputation. Or was it SEX.
P. J Tobia wrote an article about Michele Peacock a dancer who worked in one of the local nightclubs. Dancing in nude clubs is a profession that she chose to do. It should none of the business of Nashville Scene, P.J Tobia or anyone else to judge her or decide about her choice even if it may not be what someone else would. Whether we like it or not, believe it or not the fact is – it is a profession, it is legal and the establishment has a obtained a license to operate it legally therefore P.J Tobia and Nashville Scene have no business to interfere in it. Or did he write the article because she refused to surrender to sexual demands of P.J Tobia and Yuri Cunza a frequents to these places. Did they want her to participate in one of the porn movies Yuri Cunza makes.
Some of the co-workers of Michele have come forward to shed light on the story. These friends have seen P.J Tobia and Yuri Cunza frequently in the nightclub – DeJa Vu. They said “these two approached Michele who has God given beauty and a good looking figure to perform an erotic performance and participate in their porn movie but she turned it down. She rejected it which infuriated P.J Tobia and Yuri Cunza. P.J Tobia was so angry that he swore to write about her. He called her inappropriate names in the article which was published under – She knows Jack shortly after the incident. She was charged for solicitation and prostitution which may have been concocted by P.J Tobia but the court found her not guilty and she filed legal action against the Scene and P.J Tobia.
The court ruling proves that P.J Tobia wrote an article that was far from the truth. An article to run her our of town. But court found her not guilty. These articles were untrue, bias and far from honest journalism. This is pathetic. This is repugnant.
As Walter Cronkite said “Objective journalism and an opinion column are about as similar as the Bible and Playboy magazine.” P.J Tobia chose the wrong one.
P.J Tobia and his bias opinion will not award him the highest seat or throne in journalism nor would it give him a place in the history except a place in the bottom of the pit where he should be. He is no Walter Cronkite, Peter Jamming, Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein or many reputable, honest, decent journalists. Perhaps he expects to be recognized as one of the best journalists. Perhaps he expects to see his name curved in a plaque for his shoddy work.
Newspapers such as Nashville Scene are supported by advertising dollars. Should advertisers support a trashy tabloid such as Nashville Scene. A Tabloid that ignores the truth and first amendment of the constitution and code of authentic of journalism. Maybe its time to stop supporting a trashy tabloid such as Nashville Scene and others like it. Its up to you. You could be their next target.
